I am Himanshu Srivastava from Hyderabad, India. My wifes name is Priya Srivastava. We got married 2 years back. Last year, she was diagnosed with a big kidney tumour, due to which one of her kidney was removed and it came out to be cancerous. For last one year, she was on immunotherapy, which she successfully completed mid of last month. Immediately after that she developed severe jaundice, for which she was taking the medicines but suddenly, on 18th September, she went into altered state / semi-coma and suffered acute liver failure. By grace of God, she came out of coma after 3 days, but she is going through lot of pain due to other complications like fluctuating Blood Pressure, low platelet count, low urine output. She is just 28 years of age and has not been able to even enjoy bit of life after the marriage. I request you all to please pray from our side to almighty God to lessen her pain and help her in recovering and let her at-least enjoy the life and the beautiful universe HE has made for at-least some years. Dear Infant Jesus, We were informed by our doctor that our unborn child is a baby boy and is having Membranous ventricular septal defect (hole in the ventricle of the heart), foot abnormalities and the umbilical cord abnormalities causing lack of nutrition for the baby. The size of the baby is 2 weeks behind the actual date too. Doctors suspect that this could be a chromosomal abnormality and may result in down's syndrome after the birth of the child. The baby would be suffering from heart defects, mental retardation and may be unable to walk too. I cannot even dream of a baby who will grow up always wondering "If only I were like my sister, If only I could play, If only I could learn, If only I had a healthy body and mind..." This is haunting me and my family and it is one of the most difficult times I have ever seen. I really do not remember what I or my family would have done for Jesus to punish our little unborn child so very harshly. Please forgive us all for any sins we may have committed in the past O Lord and hear our prayers. We believe in your power to work miracles and heal the sick Infant Jesus. You have also helped us a lot in the past. Please hear our prayers and grant us a healthy baby Jesus. Only you can help us in this hour of great need.
